Patsy Ruth Wing

December 11, 1941 - July 29, 2014

Patsy Ruth Wing passed away peacefully at her home in Rescue, surrounded by her family. Pat is survived by her loving husband and Soulmate of 54 years, Gene Wing. Loving mother of Kathi (Dave) Hartshorn, Kenny (Lynn) Wing and Kevin Wing; Devoted grandmother of Kimberly, Mallory (Colt), Tyler, Mandi (Aaron) and Kelsey and great grandmother of Brandon and Aiden.

Pat was born December 11, 1941 in Arkansas to Bud and Mutt Stinnett and is predeceased by her parents and one brother, Gary Stinnett. She was a full time caregiver to her son Kevin who has special needs. Her devotion to Kevin was unfailing as it was unselfish. Pat will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was so loved and admired by family and friends.

Pat attended El Dorado High School from 1956 to 1959 and graduated with honors and a 4.0 grade point average. Pat loved to bowl and had a perfect 300 game. Love of music was a big part of Pat’s life along with NASCAR racing and the S.F. Giants. There was no bigger fan.

Pat was always Spiritual beginning at the age of 6. She always walked with God. She became a member of the Baha’i Faith in 1974 and served as a secretary of the local Spirit of Assembly of Baha’i of El Dorado County.

Graveside Services will be held tomorrow, Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Jayhawk Cemetery, Deer Valley Road, Rescue, CA. A Celebration of Pat’s Life will follow at the family home.
