Peggy King went to the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, August 24, 2014. She was born in Richmond, Indiana on November 9, 1950. Peggy is survived by her father Donald; husband Tom; daughters Keri King and Kelly (Jason) Walls; grandson Connor Seymour; Brother David (Susan) Hinds; and nephews Dustin, Denver and Dallas Hinds. Peggy graduated from San Juan High School and CSUS, and recently retired from El Dorado County Office of Education. A longtime resident of Camino, she was the ultimate caregiver and served others, unselfishly volunteering for the clothes closet at Green Valley Church, Snowline Hospice and the Library. Peggy’s sense of adventure, love of the great outdoors and fun loving spirit will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, 9/04/2014, at 11:00am at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville, CA. Interment will follow at Westwood Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be posted at chapelofthepinesfunerals.com
