Robert ‘Shep’ W. Shepard, a WWII Army Air Corp Vet, passed on 11/29/2013. He was 96 and a resident of Gold Country Retirement Center for many years. Shep lived through the Great Depression, he became a POW in Germany during WWII when his B-17 was shot down and crash landed, and he later became a world traveler very much enjoying cruises.
Shep is survived by his daughter Dorie in Brea, California and his son Robert ‘Shep’ in Henderson, Nevada, and many grandchildren and a few great grandchildren.
