Robert Worthey

February 6, 1958 - February 10, 2014

Robert Worthey passed away peacefully on February 10, 2014 in Roseville, Calif., surrounded by his family. Bob was the beloved husband of 35 years to Laura Worthey of Placerville; loving father of Tara (Matthew Segal) of Nashville, Tenn., and Kelli (Sterling Stoddard) of Grace, Idaho; cherished grandfather of Brynleigh Stoddard; and caring uncle to Tammi Baker and many other nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Worthey and Rowland and Alice Morris, as well as his brother, John Worthey, and sister, Marie Floyd.

Bob was a native of Placerville, born February 6, 1958. He loved road trips and baseball, and most of all, spending time with his family. The Worthey’s would like to acknowledge the love and support from everyone at the Serrano Homeowners Association office.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held tomorrow, Saturday, February 15, at 10:00 am at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home at 2855 Cold Springs Road in Placerville. A reception will follow.
