Alfred John was born on October 30, 1946 in Loretton, Tennessee, a son of Conrad Julius and Teresa Rose (Neidert) Beckman.
He married Joyce H. Beckman on July 14, 1971 in Loretto, Tennessee. She preceded him in death on January 5, 2005.
A Memorial Mass was held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plano.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 2:30 PM the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honors accorrded.
