Alice Marie King

Alice Marie King, 91, passed away June 14, 2013 in Plano, TX. She was born in Toledo, OH, where she lived most of her life until moving to Plano in August, 2010. She dearly loved her family, gardening, watching football, painting and horse racing. Her sweetness and sense of humor made her a favorite at Emeritus Spring Creek Memory Care. Her family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the many caretakers at Emeritus who tenderly embraced her energetic spirit and also extends their warm appreciation to Vitas Hospice who provided superior loving care until she was called home by our Lord. Alice is predeceased by her husband, John (Bill) King who passed away in 1999. She is survived by her children, Nanci (Art) Huskey of Richardson, TX, John (Debbie) King of Lambertville, MI and Connie (Michael) Romano of Burleson, TX; brother, Daniel Roman of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Michael, Alan, Candice, Aimee and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Stephanie, Kyle, Seth, Elysia and Aidyn. Visitation is Monday from 1:30-6:00 PM at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th St., Plano, TX with a memorial service 6:00PM in the chapel. Friends and family gathering is immediately following the service.
