Alma J. Harvey, 68, of Plano, Texas, passed away July 11th at Plano Medical Center CCU with her son and sister Marsha at her bedside. Although born in Dallas, Texas, Alma was raised by Isaac and Mary Chambers in Sheridan, Wyoming, where she attended High School, college, and met her former husband, Roger L. Harvey. Alma had one child, Roger L. Harvey Jr, who survives her. Late in life Alma was reunited with one of her previously unknown biological siblings, Marsha Perot. Alma was able to enjoy a close relationship with her sister Marsha and her niece Kelleigh.
Although Alma had a successful career as a medical administrator, her main concern in life was always first and foremost for her family and their wellbeing. Despite suffering from numerous debilitating ailments in her last years of life, Alma’s focus on her family never wavered. In her last days of life she was still focused on caring for others.
Alma was a beloved mother, sister, and friend: she will be deeply missed by all of us who knew and loved her.
