

Joanne was born on January 19, 1931 in Plano, a daughter of Emmett C. and Bertha V. (Daffron) Haggard.
Joanne was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church of Plano, Texas. She worked for Texas Power and Light Company until she retired. After she retired, she lived in the house on Sixteenth Street that was the family home in Plano. Joanne loved to read, travel, and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Mother, Bertha Daffron Haggard and Father, Emmett Clifton Haggard. She is also preceded in death by her Sisters and Brothers:

Joanne is survived by: Sister-in-Law, Mary Jo Dillehay Haggard, Corpus Christi, Texas, as well as many Nieces and Nephews. She is also survived by many Great, and Great Great Nieces, and Nephews.
Special recognition to: Annie Gibson of Plano, her long time caregiver.
A graveside service will be held at the family plot on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Plano Mutual Cemetery, Plano, Texas.
Friends and relatives are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. There will be no visitation.
