Mary Ann and family, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Bill.  I was so blessed to have him as a friend, co-worker and mentor for 19 years.  He was such a sweet and kind person and a true gentleman.  I have many fun memories laughing and joking with him.  My sympathy and prayers go out to you and your family.  May the Lord give you peace.

I was so glad to be able to pass along to Uncle Bill some of the family photos I had from my Dad, and receive his help with the stories behind some of the photos.  We didn't get a chanced to get together that often, but he, and all of you, are always on our minds and in our hearts.

Bill always would share great stories and recipes and all kinds of things. He
spoke highly of his entire family and grandkids. He was quite a loving man.
He will be greatly missed.

Aunt Mary Ann,
I was saddened to hear the news of Uncle Bill's passing, and wish to send my deepest condolences to you and the family. I was so grateful to have had the opportunity to be around you both for the years that we lived in Plano. So many fond memories that make me smile to this day. Seeing Uncle Bill come home from work in that old car that had no air conditioning and the oppressive heat. Yet he still saw the humor in it. Riding in that big station wagon with you both, and watching Uncle Bill trying to navigate somewhere only to hear you tell him "you are going the wrong way, Bill". And very diplomatically not adding "again" to your statement. Uncle Bill was one of a kind and I think we are all much better people for having been around him. He will be missed by so many.

I was privileged to work closely with Bill for many years.  He was a true professional and a rock of stability in our division at the college.  My husband and I enjoyed the times we could be together to celebrate our birthdays.  I know that you and the children and grandchildren, all of whom Bill was so proud, will miss him very much.   We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Bill's passing.  Our prayers are with you during these difficult times. 
  Unfortunately in today's world families seem to scatter in the wind as people move thousands of miles apart and become busy with their own jobs, lives, etc...  Distance can make time spent together infrequent but it can't limit our thoughts and memories of loved ones.  Although we were rarely able to see each other you and Bill were often fondly in our thoughts.  Whenever I spoke to Bill he reminded me so much of my dad.  Every time I go through our photo album and see the picture of my old Triumph TR4 I laugh out loud.  Then when asked why I'm laughing I relate the story of your trip for ice cream.  I now think of Uncle Bill together with my dad, Irene, Betty and Grace trading quips with that wonderful dry sense of humor they all had.  I only wish I could hear the exchange.

Oh, Mary Ann, I was so sorry to hear about Bill's passing.  What a wonderful man he was.  I have so many fond memories of working with him and chatting every morning before the work day began.  I will miss our lunches together.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I will think of you all this Christmas when I put the bears he gave me under the tree.

Bill single-handedly kept our division sane for years. He was a true professional and a kind-hearted gent.  I was sad when he retired; I'm sad to hear he's passed on, but I pray light perpetual may shine upon him and that his family may be buoyed by many, many years of fond memories.

I was privileged to work with Bill in my position as a professor in the Communication and Humanities department at Collin College.  He was always such a sweet, patient, and loving person.  At his retirement party, he talked about how much he would enjoy spending time with his family.  He loved you all very much.

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Bill.  He was a great colleague who positively impacted countless lives. His contributions were excellent and lasting. Bill was personable, engaging, and professional.  He will be missed. May G-d comfort his family and friends.  May his soul be elevated.  With prayers, Cary Israel
