Carolyn K Albritton

Carolyn was born in Dodson, Louisiana on November 24, 1936. Carolyn graduated from Dodson High School in Dodson, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana Tech in Ruston, Louisiana. She also received her Master of Arts from Texas Women's University.

Carolyn married Jack Albritton on December 23, 1956. She worked in early education for most of her career. Her hobbies included playing the piano, spending time with family and friends, sewing, entertaining, and playing with her many grandkids and great-grandkids.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her sister Annette Carpenter, parents Troy Lee and Maltha Kelly

Carolyn is survived by her Husband Jack, Daughters; Jacquelin Shepherd, Aundi Gruehn, Monica Jackson (J.J), and Deidre Taylor, Sisters; Frankie Stewart and Mary Mercer, Grandchildren; Brittani Shepherd Harnden (Nathan), Kesli Shepherd Newton (Josh), Jake Shepherd (Hope), Rachel Gruehn, Alyssa Gruehn, Brandi Jackson Goeke (Chris), Lexxi Jackson, Fallon Jackson, Katerena Jackson, Ronnie Taylor, Haley Taylor.

Carolyn is also survived by her Great-Grandchildren: Noah Harnden, Titus Harnden, Evalyn Harnden, Amos Harnden, Joy Shepherd, Jack Shepherd, Sadie Goeke, Emily Carney, Ruby Carney, Justin Kirby, Mavryk Kirby, and Dennis Kirby.

A Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, located at 2128 18th St, Plano, Texas 75074 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, where a Funeral Service will take place at 10:30 AM.
