Darrell Lee Hollingshead

Darrell Lee Hollingshead was born on April 22, 1958 to Leon and Patsy Hollingshead. Darrell was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he spent his early childhood, then later attended school in Dallas, Tx. Darrell was a gifted motocross rider. He was a professional at it for a time and rode for a majority of popular manufacturers, where he earned hundreds of trophies in the sport. Darrell also loved the Dallas Cowboys, and all of football in general. He enjoyed watching and cheering on the Cowboys in their many victories. He also enjoyed talking about politics and would enjoy verbal sparring matches with his friends, making sure everyone understood the benefits of conservative thinking. Later in life Darrell plunged himself into his work. He enjoyed his work greatly as a salesman and distributor of flooring. Darrell is survived by his parents, Pat and Leon Hollingshead, his brother, Gary Hollingshead, and his niece Brea Hollingshead-Conder. Darrell is also survived by many cousins, all of whom he loved greatly. There will be a service for Darrell at Ted Dickey Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 3 PM.
