

Warren was born in Pueblo, Colorado on October 21, 1940, to Alice and Eldon Bowlby.
He graduated from Central High School and the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo, with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He joined the Army in 1961 and after being honorably discharged in 1964, returned to Pueblo with his wife, Heidelore, and infant daughter, Nancy. He joined the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in 1968 as an Assistant Examiner (Trainee) and retired from FDIC in 1997 as an Assistant Regional Director with 30 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alice Rebol and Eldon Bowlby; ex-wife Heidelore Nallin; and, brother-in-law David Sears.
In 1995, he married Joan E. Martin and they lived happily in Dallas, Texas until finding their forever home in Allen, Texas in 2014.
Warren enjoyed sports and in earlier years was an avid golfer, bowler, and tennis, billiards and softball player. He loved playing poker and played both Texas Hold Em and Omaha for years. He also enjoyed watching football and consistently criticized the Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones.
Warren is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joan of Allen, TX; daughter Nancy (Stewart) Price of Boerne, TX; sister Bethene Sears of Windsor, CO; brother-in-law James Race of Princeton, TX; Stepsons Jeff (Christi) Gosdin of Prosper, TX; Jerrod (Jesenia) Gosdin of Tyler, TX; and, a stepdaughter Ashley (Peter) Seefeldt of Lewisville, TX; 9 grandchildren, a niece, and two great grandchildren.
His cremation is being handled by Ted Dickey Funeral Home, Plano, TX, and his ashes will eventually be interred in Oak Grove Cemetery, Irving, TX.
