Ema Jean Gregory Wolfe Christian was born, March 20, 1933 at the Gregory homeplace in Parker, Texas to Beulah Lake & Cecil Calvert Gregory. She passed away at her home on March 2, 2023, with her daughters by her side.
One story she loved to tell was she started her work career the day after she graduated from Plano High School in 1950. She took great pride as a bookkeeper that she always balanced to the penny. Her last employer liked her so much that after she retired in 1997, they asked her back 2 more times and gave her 2 more retirement parties.
Ema loved family holidays, friends and going on trips and then filling photo albums with all the pictures she had taken. Her other passion was genealogy, and she has left a wonderful detailed written history for her family.
Ema was always happy to visit, especially sitting on the patio, sharing a beverage and listening to country & western classics. She loved her sweets, but when it came to meals her famous line was “sure, but not very much”.
She was a lifetime member of the Corinth Presbyterian Church in Parker Texas and served as an elder of the church on numerous occasions.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 27 years Jim Wolfe, her second husband of 30 years Kenneth Christian and her granddaughter Bailey Michele Kerss. She is survived by her children Jeanmarie Musick (Craig), Jim Wolfe (Leslie), Jadee Williamson (Jim); grandchildren Dustin Musick, Devin Musick, Chris Neal, Tommy Neal and James Williamson; great grandchildren Mason Musick, Evelyn Musick, and Ransom Musick. Her sister Cecelia Beckham, brother, Clairborne Gregory; nieces Nema McLerran, Leslie White, Julie Gregory, nephews Mark Wolfe, Mike McLerran, and many great nieces & nephews. She will be greatly missed.
