Born December 9 1960, one month before JFK’s inauguration. Scott grew up on Air bases all over the country as well as overseas in Spain, South America, and Panama. He graduated J.J. Pearce High as a member of the gymnastics team as well as staring on stage in Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park. He attended Richland community college and joined the student government. Transferred to SMU after one year at Richland and joined the Greek Letter Fraternity Alpha Tao Amiga. While at SMU, he pursued flying lessons and got a private pilots license. Scott dropped out of school, and went to the flight line to pump gas using a combination of good looks & social skills, he made the right contacts, and by 23 was driving Ferrari and frequenting the most beautiful women on the planet. We were all stunned. He was asked to crew on a P51 Mustang team for the 1984 Reno air races and went on to manage Charter Lear Jet hangers all over the country including Jim’s Air in Lake Tahoe, where he was catering to the jet set moguls like Sam Walton, Sammy Davis Jr, Don Johnson to name a few. All the pilots said Scott was the best thing going on the flight line. A dream job, living in the most scenic place on earth, hob knobbing with the rich & famous. Beyond fame & fortune, Scott established a close nit group of friends in California, all dedicated to high impact sports, snow boarding, roller blading, mountain biking, and coming together once a year in Joshua Tree, establishing true friendships that are the very fabric of life. Scott lived life to fullest. Right up to the end, even with the lose of his motor skills to a long term auto immune disorder, he was an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
