Worked with George at HP ... a consummate gentleman and a really smart engineer who worked hard for his customers.  Always willing to help others ... learned a lot from him.

Working together as leaders in the Boy Scouts brings back fond memories of the hiking tip to Philmont.  That wasn’t easy, but we all made it.  There were great stories about raccoons eating George’s loaf of bread.  George was always there if you needed help with your computer and grinned if you didn’t know what control, option, command meant.
He would always stop to chat when driving by if he saw us in the front yard, we will miss those good visits.  Al and Reita Seidler

Betsy, we were so sad to hear you lost your sweet husband, George. As a neighbor, we will always remember his devotion to our close little block area of Sutton Place and Chapparal, making sure our National Night Out was a constant success. Our kids loved growing up near you, feeling safe and cared for as they rode bikes and played hide and seek on summer evenings.

 I was very sorry to read that George Tahu had passed away. He and Betsy were close friends of mine who were role models for me and many others. He and his kindness will always be remembered. I recall buying my first flat screen tv about twenty years ago and telling George that the tv sat too low on my table. He immediately made a stand for my tv so that I could watch the tv better. That is the kind of man that he was. I still have that stand and think of my thoughtful friend George every time I buy a new tv.

George was a venerable wise experienced colleague when i was a young newbie at HP in 1989. I looked up to him tremendously. He modelled dedication to his team, job, customers, and fun. But he somehow simultaneously modelled ( from my vantage point) a balancing dedication to family and his private life. I have thought often of the balance he seemed to have.  He stood for integrity. He prioritized teaching us all what it meant to be a consummate professional. Love and light to his family as they go thru this difficult time.  Catherine Warzek-Savage

George was a friend and role model to many. He was always kind, professional, open-hearted, and supportive. His intentions were positive and lifted all with whom he engaged. I count him as a blessing in my professional life as he was very influential as I started my career. Sending prayers and warm thoughts of condolence to his family. Know he made a difference.

Dear Betsy, Tiffany and George,

We are so saddened by the loss of George.  He was so proud of all of you, your accomplishments, and your devotion to each other.  He was always a wonderful neighbor and good friend to all of us.  We shared many an alley chat about all of you and keeping the city on target for projects.  He was so smart, thoughtful and kind.  He will be missed.
