

Gregory Phillip Ruhlander, 61, of Little Elm, Texas passed away Sunday January 1, 2023 with his wife, Tanya, and his children by his side. Greg was born on May 20, 1961 in Wheaton, IL to Gordon and Barb Ruhlander. He graduated from Hannibal- La Grange college (2009) and was a certified Reliability Professional. Greg worked as a Sr. Principal Reliability Professional Engineer for Lennox International. He was a true hobbyist at heart. He was a pilot, worked on and rebuilt watches, and did astrophotography with his telescopes, made homemade beer and wine, and loved ham radios.
Greg was a man who traveled the world, but if you asked him what his favorite moments were, he would say hanging out on the couch with Tanya, laughing with his kids, hosting impromptu wine, bourbon, or beer tastings with friends, and playing music roulette.
Above all Greg was a family man. He loved his family more than anything. He is survived by Tanya, his beloved wife of 34 years, his children; Daughter: Tehara Lynn Livell-Ruhlander (Jenny Livell-Ruhlander); Son: Garrett Paul Ruhlander (Rebecka Ruhlander and daughters Abigail and Audrey Griffis); Son: Gavin Ray Ruhlander (fiance Alicia Dinnerville); Sister: Susan Ruhlander; Mother: Barb Ruhlander. He was preceded in death by his father Gordon Ruhlander and sister Cindy Ruhlander.
Greg's zest for life will live forever through his family and friends.
Celebration of Life will take place at Ruhlander Aviation in Addison, Texas 4721 Eddie Rickenbacker Dr. Addison Texas 75001 at 6pm January, 6th 2023.
Followed on Saturday, Jan 7th 2023 will be the memorial for Greg at Ted Dickey Funeral Home 2128 18th. Plano Texas at 2pm.
