Tom leaves behind his wife of 33 years: Anne Shehee, son Thomas Michael and grandchildren Mason and Madison; step daughter Mary Carlson and little buddy dog “Oscar,” as well as extended family and friends. In 2001, Tom retired from Neiman Marcus after 42 years of dedicated and loyal service. He remembers those years with fondness.
From an early age, Tom developed a love for nature. He was a true outdoorsman. Although later in life Tom could not enjoy this passion, he cherished the memories and the fishing stories he could tell! He was his happiest and the most content when out in his boat fishing with his wife Anne. Most importantly and defining, Tom was a devoted husband. He said many times that the best decision he ever made was to marry his beloved “Annie Lou.” They were more than husband and wife, they were soul mates and best friends.
