

James E. Brennan was born on June 28, 1933 in Kemp, TX to Troy and Lockie Brennan. James attended Crozier Tech High School then joined the United States Air Force. Once James got out of the Air Force he went to work for Weiner Lumber Company. After his time with them, James joined Liberty Steel where he worked and honed his skills as a steel salesman. James had an incredible knack for it that came second only to his loving nature as a father. James is predeceased by his Son Paul Douglas Ballard as well as his two brothers, Harold and Jerry Brennan, and his brother-in-law Norman Wreyford. James’ legacy will live on through his wife Phyllis Brennan as well as his son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Marilyn Brennan and his daughter Beverly Childs and good family friend Johnny. James is also survived by his sister Dorothy Wreyford and sister-in-laws Linda and Jeannie Brennan. James leaves behind his grandchildren TJ Brennan, Kymm Brennan, DeeAnne Lumley Cole and her husband Jake, Ryan Annesley and Parker Ballard, his great grandchildren Tarah Brennan and James Annesley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. James also leaves behind his beloved dog Tweety.
