He served in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1967.
He was born on January 8, 1939, in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, to the late John William and Evelyn Denny.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Marianne Denny of Plano, Texas.
His son: Michael Denny of Tomball, Texas.
His twin daughters: Chanin Denny of Plano, Texas and Allyson Gonzalez (spouse Ismael) of Celebration, Florida, his granddaughter: Isabella Sophia Gonzalez and grandson: Karlo William Gonzalez.
Brother: Gary Denny (spouse Alice) of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Johns’ greatest joys in life were spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren; serving the Lord Jesus Christ through church and his everyday life; watching sports (especially the Pittsburgh Steelers); playing piano and fishing.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Plano, located at 813 East 15th Street, Plano, Texas 75074.
Dr. Kyle Dennis will officiate.
Burial will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas at a later date.
Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano, Texas has charge of arrangements.
