A special tribute written for Kelsie...
"I won't sugarcoat it here; having Kelsie's life end the way it did is just awful. She achieved and/or pursued many things during her lifespan. She was a Girl Scout, a middle-school cheerleader, a high school graduate, aspiring hair stylist, et cetera. Like everyone else, Kelsie had her own set of flaws, mistakes, and demons to contend with. However, none of that matters now.
What does matter is that through all the hardships Kelsie faced...she did her best to enjoy life as happily as possible. With people that she cared about as much as they cared about her. When it comes to the addictions that took Kelsie from us. There was always the hope that she could and would change for the better.
Now if Kelsie is able to be reborn with a clean slate. All we can do is hope and pray her next life is a lot longer than the last one. Rest in peace Kelsie Leigh Barker. You will be fondly remembered as your closest family, friends, and loved ones dream of what would've been an amazingly successful woman.
Kelsie leaves a host of family, friends, loved ones to honor and cherish her memory: her mother, Helen Virginia Barker; her grandfather, James Latham; her aunts, Joyce Pedro and Marilyn Sioux Barker; her cousins, Kyla Britney Thomas and Kieran Mackenzie Barker; her friend Maddie Ellstrom; her boyfriend, Sean Flynn; and lastly Barry who was dear to her and her family. She was preceded in death by: her father, Timothy Mitchell and her grandmother, Helen Virginia Orazio Latham."
There are no services planned at this time for Kelsie.
