Leta Beth Ralls Ilgenfritz of Plano, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011. Leta was born in Warner, OK on December 24, 1936, and graduated from Warner High School in 1954. She graduated North Texas University in Denton, Texas and played basketball as well. Leta married Eric Ilgenfritz on August 24, 1957, and was an elementary school teacher for PISD since she was 21 years old. She began teaching at Mendenhall and then moved to Christie Elementary in 1975, where she retired in 2002. Leta enjoyed her retirement with her husband and family. They enjoyed traveling, RV camping and staying involved with her daughters and 8 grandchildren. Leta is survived by her daughters, Sandra Petersen, Christie Camizzi and Jennifer Barnes and her brother, Richard Ralls. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Eric, and her oldest daughter, Liz Griffith. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and Mother-In-Law.
