Lyla is survived by her son Mike and daughter-in-law, Pam Ryan of Plano, Texas; granddaughters, Jillian Ryan and Jennifer Ryan both of Plano and Julianne Becker and her husband Jared of Cypress, Texas; two sisters, Yvonne Boyd and her husband, Elmer of Blooming Grove, Texas and Gail Smith Alexander of Kyle, Texas. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and the love of her life for 50 years, Judge Tom Ryan of Plano and her constant companion since Judge Ryan passed away, Dasch the Dachshund.
Her life will be celebrated at her graveside services at 2 pm on Monday, April 7th at the Plano Mutual Cemetery.
