Some of his close friends described Neil as the life of the party, whose loud voice and contagious laugh could fill a room. Watching a Patriots football game with him was intense. Anyone who knew Neil, knew he was highly intelligent and a great conversationalist about all things political, scientific, history, and the world . He was a kind soul, a genuine, true and loyal friend, a trusted confidant who offered great advice. He was generous and would give you the shirt off his back.
