OBITUARIO
Ruby Anna Wray
31 mayo , 1923 – 8 julio , 2017
Born May 31, 1923 in Climax, Pennsylvania to her parents Harry Albert Reitz and Bernice Loelia Burford, Ruby passed away at age 94 on July 8, 2017. After incurring stroke complications, she peacefully passed in a nursing home in Plano, Texas. She was predeceased by her parents; three sisters and one brother; and her husband of 61 years Robert Harry Wray, Jr. Ruby is survived by one sister, Shirley Gilmore and husband Allen; son Kenneth H. Wray and wife Shirley; daughter Cathy D. Freeman and husband Tom; grandson Trent Wray; grandson Todd Freeman and wife Lisa; granddaughter Tricia Bizub and husband Jeff. Additionally she is survived by several great grandchildren. Ruby's husband had a career in the U.S. Air Force, so she relocated many times due to military transfers. She was the loving center of the family with a quiet, but strong independent spirit; quick wit; and sweet smile. Reading; crossword puzzles; and Yahtzee were mainstays of her hobbies. However collecting elephants whether they be in the form of stuffed; figurines; or jewelry was her favorite pastime. To be closer to their son and daughter-in-law in Texas, in 2006 Ruby and Harry moved from Tucson, Arizona to Plano, Texas. After her husband passed away in 2008, Ruby continued to live independently by herself until June, 2016 when she had her first stroke. She then lived with her son and his wife until her second stroke in June, 2017. Ruby will be buried next to her beloved husband in Chicora, Pennsylvania. She will be missed, but forever in our hearts.
Arrangements under the direction of Ted Dickey Funeral Home, Plano, TX.

Mom I just praise the Lord that you and Dad are together again and there is no more pain but just laughter and sunshine where you are now. The many hours we all spent with each other are so precious to me. I will never forget when you heard the song Walking On The Shores of Heaven and what you said about Dad being there. All the times you and I spent when you were still in the Apt. and how you were almost like a child with anticipation to see what I had cooked that week for you. It was my pleasure. We shared so much over the years...you were in deed my Mom but also like a trusted girlfriend. You told me in your last days that you had always loved me and always would and so I say to you...I have always loved you and always will. You said we would see each other again, so until we meet again on those beautiful shores in Heaven you and dad are in my heart always. I Love You and look forward to a much anticipated reunion.
