Wanda Joyce Wilson

She was born September 12, 1931 in Plano, Texas. She was 94 years old.

She was the daughter of John and Nola (Holley) Yandell

Wanda graduated from Plano High School and worked for Magnolia Petroleum Company later to become Mobil Oil Corporation for 28 years.

She married her high school sweetheart Jerry Wilson in San Diego, Ca. While Jerry was in the Navy and later they made their home in Plano. They were married for 74 years.

Wanda is survived by her husband Jerry, son Skipper, granddaughter Eliska Sutton (Husband Randy), and great granddaughters Lily and Kylie. She is predeceased by her parents, brothers Johnny, Jack, Joe, and Billy, as well as sisters Charlsie, Louise, and Nola.

Wanda was a joyful person, a great listener, and easy to like and love, a hard worker and above all, a faithful Christian. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plano. She was an excellent cook, homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Graveside services will be held at Restland Funeral Home with arrangements by Ted Dickey Funeral Home.
