William Edward Ryan

Passed away on March 16, 2015. He was born on April 28, 1950 to Thomas and Virginia Ryan in Brooklyn, NY. Billy is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Barbara Grace Ryan; daughter, Graceann Ryan; brother, Thomas Ryan and wife Patrice; sisters, Patricia Marini and husband Gerard, Kathleen Loughran and husband Joseph, Dorothy Ryan, and Eileen Ryan; a host of other family and friends; and most of all his canine companion and best pal Scruffy. He is preceded by his parents. Billy was a fan of the NY Yankees, NY Giants and NY Jets, he loved basketball and all sports in general. He enjoyed people, telling jokes, watching movies, listening to his classical radio station. Billy loved his family and friends. He was kind, considerate, caring, giving, had a beautiful soul and a huge heart. He will be missed by all that knew him. We love you to the moon and back! Until we meet again sweet father, husband, brother, uncle, friend! Rest in peace. A memorial service for Billy will be on a later date.
