Charlie W Potter

Charlie Wayne Potter, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. He was the husband of Helen Potter. A father of three children, Tracey Potter, Linda Snow, and Crystal Wolfe. Grandpa/papa to eight children, Alex, Kylie, Kayce, Drake, Zane, Leah, Lance, and Treasure. Great-grandpa to Hudson. He will be deeply missed by ALL who knew him.

Charlie faced challenges in his early childhood and, left school before 9th grade. By the time he was a teenager, he had mastered the art of odd jobs. He went on to work as maintenance at Kraft Foods, Inc for 38 years. Charlie was a gentle and giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. Eventually, he retired just so he had enough time to work even harder.

Charlie loved his grandkids, cows, fixing things, and his garden. He was never still unless he was asleep. He spent much of his time taking care of something, somewhere, for someone. He grew fond of the birds in his garden, so he built them feeders and houses. One of his favorite activities was driving the kids around on the tractor. In his final days, he said he would only do what needed doing, which meant he was still always doing something.

The visitation will be held at Wells Memorial on May 6, 2023, at 2 pm followed by a funeral service at 3 pm.

Charlie, you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much.
