Doris P. Swilley

Doris Swilley was a beloved matriarch who will be dearly missed. She was a lifelong member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and her hobbies included crocheting, tending to her flowers and plants, watching the Tampa Bay Rays, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded by her parents; her husband, Glen Swilley; daughter, Glenda Swilley Crow; and granddaughter, Stephanie Swilley Williams.

She is survived by her son Richard R. Swilley, son-in-law Donald Crow, sisters Carol Watkins and Evelyn Sapp, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was also a mother to 86 foster kids.

A visitation will take place on Friday, June 10th, 2022 at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 W Reynolds St, Plant City, Florida, 33563 at 10:00 AM and a funeral service will follow at 11:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church or Suncoast Hospice in her honor.
