BARNETT Jr., James R. “Bobby”, age 63 of Plant City, Florida passed away on January 18, 2016. Bobby loved life and his family. He was a true hobbyist and outdoorsman and loved everything from mechanics, building things, drag racing, cars, fishing, airboats, to ham radio and RC planes.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Barnett; stepfather, Walter H. Powell; and stepsister, Susan Jiles. Family he leaves behind is mother, Betty L. Powell; son, James Robert Barnett III (Jamie); daughter, Shannon Shelton (Randy); brothers, Darryl R. Barnett (LaCresha), Mike Barnett (Linda); stepsisters, Teresa Benitez, Debbie Powell (Melissa); stepbrother, Walter H. Powell II (Delores); and four grandchildren, Tyler Barnett, Dylan Barnett, Lexie Barnett and Tucker Harvill.
A visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2016, 6-8pm at Wells Memorial in Plant City, FL. A funeral service will be Friday, January 22, 2016, 11am followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Plant City.
