STEARNS, James Lee, age 92, currently of Lakeland, FL passed away in Plant City, FL on June 20, 2017. James was born on September 27, 1924 in Lomita, CA to Merle and Blanche (Fewell) Stearns. He was an Army veteran and an active member of Oasis Community Church in Lakeland, FL.
James is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Smith (Ted), Starla Scarbro (Steve); his son, Merle Stearns (Barbara); and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, CA on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, 10am.
