

JALBERT, Joseph Gedeon, age 93, of Plant City, FL, born in Eagle Lake, ME on August 21, 1922, passed away on February 15, 2016 with his family by his side. Joseph was a masonry contractor, City Inspector for Plant City for over 25 years, and attended Eastside Baptist Church. He served as a Medical Tech in the US Air Force during WWII. His family was his pride and joy and he will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Victoria (Saucier) Jalbert; wife, Hazel Jalbert; and two brothers, Eddie and Alberie Jalbert. Joseph is survived by four daughters, Shirley Durrance (Larry), Diane Swindle (Buddy), Darlene Jalbert (Grant), Karen Brewer (Rodney); wife LaVerne and her son, Oran (Kathy); two brothers, Gilman Jalbert, Raynold Jalbert (Priscilla); three sisters, Lauria Morneault, Velma Pelletier, Carole Martin (Don); nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A visitation will be at Wells Memorial in Plant City, FL on Thursday, February 18, 2016, 6-8pm. A funeral service will be at Eastside Baptist Church in Plant City on Friday, February 19, 2016, 10am followed by burial at Antioch Cemetery in Thonotosassa, FL.
