

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Juanita Kelly, who peacefully departed on June 8, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on June 14, 1935, in Tylertown, Mississippi, to Zeke and Edith Magee, Juanita lived a life filled with love and cherished memories.
During her younger years, Juanita worked as a medical transcriptionist and co-owned Kelly’s RV and Mobile Home Park. Juanita found immense joy in the love she shared with her late husband, James Kelly, with whom she shared 60 beautiful years of travel and companionship. She loved spending time with her family and friends, sharing stories about her life. She found joy in sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and cooking from scratch. Her favorite color was green, and she adored shamrocks.
Juanita will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her, especially her family. She is survived by her children: Dennis J. Kelly (Colleen), Cynthia Ann Mullins, Michael “Mel” Kelly (Diane), and Matthew D. Kelly; her brother, Zeke "Pete" Magee (Lucy); as well as her seven grandchildren: Patrick Sickler, Steven Sickler, Melissa Kelly, Kaylan Kelly, Blake Kelly, Ayden Kelly, and Shelby Kelly; and four great-grandchildren: Khloe, Wyatt, Tamera, and Daniel.
A funeral service to honor Juanita’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1903 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida 33563. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10:30 a.m.. Following the service, graveside services will take place at Florida National Cemetery, located at 6502 S.W. 102 Ave., Bushnell, Florida 33513. Please join us as we honor the wonderful life of our beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
