Born on November 19, 1933, to the late Goldia and Oliver Denson, Mable lived a life full of faith, love, music, and service. She was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was caring for her family. A natural nurturer and peacemaker, Mable was the heart of her home—always offering a warm meal, a listening ear, and endless love.
She was married for over 40 years to the late Jimmy Waldrop, the father of her children, until his passing in 1995. Later in life, she found love again and was blessed to share her later years with her husband Kenneth Robbins, who survives her.
Mable was known for her sweet spirit and many talents. She was an accomplished quilter and seamstress who loved to sew and cook for her family. She had a deep love for bluegrass gospel music and was a gifted singer and guitar player. For eight years, she brought joy to nursing home residents by singing for them, and she remained active in her church—organizing monthly family events and leading with grace and compassion.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Robbins; her children, Tommy Waldrop, Diane Davis, Annette Wilcox, Jackie Waldrop, and Donna Waldrop; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was proud to witness five generations of her family.
Mable was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Linda London, whose words still echo in the hearts of the family: “It Pays To Serve the Lord.”
A celebration of Mable’s life will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Plant City Assembly, at 602 Charlie Griffin Rd. Plant City FL with a public service to honor her. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mable will be remembered as a kind-hearted woman of faith, music, and peace. She lived her life serving others with joy and left behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten.
