KING, Mary Katherine "Kathy", age 94, of Thonotosassa, Florida went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2017. Kathy was born to Charles Wilson and Nellie Gordon Wilson on May 26, 1923 in Tennga, Georgia. She was a high school athlete and attended business school. Kathy was married to her husband, Lester King, for 60 years before his passing. She was a banking Vice President and attended Riverhills Church of God.
Kathy is survived by her son, Russell King; daughter, Patricia Elliott; three grandchildren, Sean King, Russell King, Dr. Paula Elliott; and two great grandchildren, Jessica Faus and Sydney Kori.
A visitation with family and friends will be on Saturday, July 8, 2017, 1pm at Wells Memorial Funeral Home in Plant City. A funeral service will begin at 2pm and interment will be private at a later date at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
