Nancy graduated from Plant City High School and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Florida State University. After graduating she taught Home Economics in New Port Richey. She worked for Estee’ Lauder in Atlanta and became a restauranteur opening and operating several restaurants in Atlanta. After leaving Atlanta she moved back to the Tampa Bay area where she taught Culinary Arts at Durant High School.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lurine Johnson, her father, Hugh Johnson and her brother, Hugh Johnson, Jr. She is survived by her siblings, Brenda Colwell, Deborah Torres, and Rob Johnson and six nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Wells Memorial in Plant City on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. A visitation will take place at 10:30, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.
