BLANTON, Rachel V, age 86, passed away on November 15, 2013. She was born in Shady Grove, Florida. on Dec. 1, 1926 to Simon and Elizabeth (Slaughter) Walters. She married Marvin E. Blanton, who is deceased. Rachel was a homemaker and attended the Landmark Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Samuel E. (Beverly), a daughter, Nadine White, three grandchildren, Paula, Holly, and Bubba, five great, and one great great grandchild.
Visitation for Rachel will be on Thursday from 6 -8 pm at Wells Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services Friday, November 22, 2013 11:00 am at Wells Memorial & Event Center. Burial will take place at Mt. Enon.
