Robert Wayne Heckman

Robert "Bob" Heckman, 73, of Lakeland, Florida (Kittanning, Pennsylvania) passed away March 28, 2023 at Lakeland regional health surrounded by family and close friends. Born June 20, 1949 to Robert W. Heckman and Catherine Fair (Lovich). Eldest of four brothers (Tom, Henry, John).

Bob was a Vietnam Army veteran and later worked at R&P Coal mines in Shelocta, Pennsylvania. He is survived by loving companion Pat Wagner, brother John Heckman, daughter Misti Heckman (Dhume), son Micheal Heckman, granddaughter Austin Heckert, niece Shiela Heckman, great uncle to Michael and Samantha Delp, and Zac and Ben Wagner. Preceded in death by brothers Tom and Henry, father Robert

Heckman, mother Catherine fair (Lovich), stepfather Steven Lovich.

Bob was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and loved building custom street rods. He made friends everywhere he went. He was a son, brother, loving companion, dad, pappy and a friend to so many. He was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched.

A celebration of life will be held April 23 (1pm) at the American Legion in Worthington, Pennsylvania. Bring your Harley or your street rod and your many memories.
