Sue V Denham

Sue VaNeze Hickman Denham, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2012 in Tampa, FL. She was born on October 14, 1926 in Fitzgerald, GA to Talmadge and Hernice (White) Hickman. She married Marvin M.C. Denham, who is deceased.

Sue worked for Maas Brothers for 32 years, starting at the downtown store in the toy department and moving to the credit office at the Northgate store later. She finished her career with Maas Bros. in the credit office at the Gandy store.

She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church in Tampa since 1966. Hobbies included fishing and watching baseball, but she especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren in any activity they were involved in.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Dennis) Jones, Son, Christopher L. Denham, two sisters, Jean McLeod, Linda Watkins.

Grandchildren: Janice (Trace) Kuhn, Jeri Ennis, Antonio (Gloria) Vincenti aka “Chris”, Shane (Martha) Kirkpatrick, and Brandi L. Denham

Great Grandchildren: Elizabeth, Andrew & Sarah; Emily & Evan; Gianna, Ariana & Sergio; and MacKenzie.

She was preceded in death by: Husband, M.C. Denham and Brother, Harry A. Hickman.

Graveside services will be on Thursday August 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park, 2401 N. Wheeler, Plant City. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday Aug. 4, 2012 at 3PM at Northgate Baptist Church in Tampa.

She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed!
