He was a lifelong Plant City resident. He was a Building Inspector for Hillsborough County 20 years and after retiring, he farmed strawberries. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, woodworking and telling tall tales. He attended Cork Methodist Church for ten years.
He was predeceased by his parents and brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn; daughter, Tara; son, Tadd; 2 granddaughters, Ashton and Kendall; 2 great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Ivy; and many extended family members and friends.
A visitation will take place on Friday, April 22, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Cork Methodist Church, 4815 Sam Allen Road, Plant City, FL 33565 and a memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.
