Brown, Travis Victor, 89, of Plant City, Fla., passed away peacefully on March 22, 2012. He was married to Mary Frances Brown, wife and soul mate for 65 years. A lifelong resident of Plant City, Mr. Brown proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He then went on to work for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and afterwards retired from C.F. Industries after 25 years of dedicated employment.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances, his sister, Doris Polk, son, Dennis Brown, daughters, Donna Kight and Debbie Potts.
Mr. Brown is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Wells Memorial Chapel with Pastor Joe Bowles officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
