Zona Diane Wagoner was born on December 19, 1959, and went to be with her Mom, Dad, and Jesus on January 30, 2024. Zona aka Poogie Jack is preceded in death by her father, Carl Wagoner, Sr., and her mother, Hattie “Betty” Wagoner. Zona is survived by her sisters Teresa Deusner (Charles), Zelda Janise (Frank), Cindy Roberts (Keith), her brothers Ronald “Ronnie” Wagoner (Diane) and Carl Wagoner, Jr (Maria), and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Zona is special in so many ways and has touched people without them even knowing it. Even on a bad day, you would leave from visiting with her with a smile on your face and in your heart. Her quirky smiles and telling you “You know what? So and So hit me!” You would always have to follow that up with, “Zona, I will pull this car over and tear their tail up. They know that they should not be hitting you.” This would always put you in a happy mood because you knew she was so happy with that answer. She would always come in and tell Charles “I got makeup on my face” and as always he would say “Zona, you better get that makeup off your face”. Zona loved her Full House TV program and could tell you what Michelle was getting into. Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune are her favorite game shows to watch and always got excited when the contestant wins. Zona will always be with us and never forgotten -Dadgumit!
