On Friday January 6, 2023, Catherine Janovich (nee Lehr), widow to the late John Janovich (1932-2015) with whom she was married for over 60 years, passed away peacefully at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence. The care she received there in her final days was outstanding.
She leaves behind her son Jeffrey (Jacqueline), and daughter Susie (Steve) and her extended Lehr family.
Catherine raised her family in St-Sauveur and worked for many years as a successful real estate agent with Les Immeubles Leger in the heart of the village. She enjoyed her time with her close friends Ruth, Lois and Carol at their villa in Treasure Cay, Bahamas and in her later years she enjoyed cruises to Alaska and through Europe.
She was very active with the Church of St-Francis of the Birds and had many close friends who she collaborated with on the Christmas bazar and other community events. She loved sketching and painting and leaves behind many treasured works of art.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held in the Spring. Dates to be determined and communicated to friends and family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence would be appreciated.
