Our dear David passed away on Saturday the 1st of October, 2022, in Selkirk Manitoba, close to Victoria Beach Manitoba, a place cherished by David and where he spent most of his summers since his birth. David was known to all as a kind, gentle, and caring person, and was best known for his irreverent sense of humor. He made everyone laugh even at the most awkward of moments. David was always ready to lend a hand - he could fix anything!
In addition to his lengthy career in sales of pharmaceutical and medical supplies, David had a keen interest in how everything worked, and he was always fixing, building or tinkering in his leisure time. His hobby and passion for classic vehicles, particularly Mercedes-Benz automobiles was legendary, and led to his decades-long involvement with the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, as well as an ever-changing collection of vehicles.
David cared deeply about family connections. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a devoted friend. He is survived by his wife Susan, his three children: Kevin (Melissa), Sam, Alexandra (Sam O.), as well as his grandchildren Franklin and William. He is also survived by his siblings: Leslie (Tony d.), Robert (Kim), and Roslyn (Ron). In addition, his many nieces, nephews and cousins share in the sadness of his passing. He will live on forever in all of our hearts.
Visitation for David will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, Quebec H9S 3X6.
