Predeceased by her mother Mary Lorimer and father Harry West. Left to mourn; husband Ernest, sons Steven (Anastasia), Michael and her most precious granddaughter, Jessica.
Eileen enjoyed the status of being the eldest of 5 very close and loving siblings; Harlene (Rod), Harry (Gilda), Jim (Sue), Carol (Robert).
She also leaves her deeply loved cousins, here and in Northern Ireland, as well as her many in-laws.
She will be fondly remembered as the fun and kind of wild "Auntie Eileen" by her many nieces and nephews, some of whom traveled across Canada and the U.S., to visit in her final days.
She will missed by long time friends, former coworkers who became friends and neighbours who became like family.
Eileen's absence is deeply felt by her beloved coconut hound, Evie.
Eileen will be remembered often in the years ahead as people come across an ornament or trinket she gave them, because she knew they needed it, whether they knew they needed it or not.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Fritz Community Centre located at 20477 Rue Lakeshore, Baie d'Urfé, Qc H9X 1R3, on Sunday March 17, 2024 between 12pm and 2:30pm, service 2:30pm to 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, who's outstanding care and compassion for Eileen and family, allowed her to pass away in peace and dignity or the charity of your choice.
