I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Eric as a friendly, pleasant, and fun person. My condolences to you and your family.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Eric's passing. During Eric's tenure at Dawson, his innate sense of fairness offered stability even in controversial times. I will always be grateful for his support, encouragement, and understanding.

I met Eric playing racquetball over 20 years ago at the West Island Racquetball Club,and he showed us all that age didn't matter as he would beat us younger guys on a regular basis.
I'll never forget when he injured his right hand and couldn't play his beloved racquetball. He spent weeks practising until he was able to play lefthanded! Typical Eric. He never gave up.
He will be missed by me and all his racquetball buddies.

Chantal,  I was saddened to hear the news of the passing of your beloved Eric.  How happy you were to have found each other and how happy you made each other.  There was always another trip, always another restaurant, always another home renovation.  And everyone could see the love you both shared.  Take comfort in family and friends who love you and who will support you through this time.  I send my deepest sympathies to you and the family and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Eric's family ; please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.I first met Eric in 1969 when I was a rookie teacher at St. Thomas high school and he was the department head of science. Eric was the kindest, most supportive boss and then friend I could have ever wished for.I will never forget the laugh he had which always ended in a slight giggle! I am so sorry that he is gone.He was a true "mensch", a person of real substance.

My condolences to you all on Eric's passing. He was a staunch friend and colleague to me for years, kind and generous with his time. He will be sorely missed by everyone.

I was greatly saddened to hear about Eric's death. He was a quiet but strong and supportive colleague and friend to me for years. He knew a great deal about matters of personnel and Quebec law, and his counsel was always wise. Most of all, I remember his smile.
Unfortunately I cannot attend the visitation on Sunday but wish to express my deepest sympathies to Chantal, and all Eric's family, on your loss. 

We disagreed often but I always admired Eric for his integrity, intelligence and class. Sincere condolences to Chantal and family.
