Geoff, you and Mary Lynne were our best friends.  The 4 of  us spent so many Saturday evenings together, having supper and playing bridge at each other’s houses. Your cooking  was the best!  We both were avid readers and you shared many books with us .The foto shows us at your cottage, where we spent many great weekends. Those times came to an end during the pandemic and had unfortunately not resumed yet, but we hoped they would soon. Sadly they will not anymore. 
We will miss you dearly  and wish your family strength in this difficult time.

I write this with tears in my eyes - Karen and I are so very shocked and sorry for your loss and send our Sincere condolences to you Mary Lynne and the kids. We will be with you in spirit for Saturday's celebration of his life. This pic was taken at our 2007 reunion.  Look at that mischievous Geoff ... peaking out from the back row - probably after cracking a joke to make us laugh. (between Mike Lemire & Jeff Miller and above Sue Miller & Mary Lynne; Karen and I are beside ML; Tyler & Alexis are front left)  We already miss you buddy and Love you - and our entire crew were so bummed we didn't get to see and kabitz with you two this past June in Rothesay.

Dear Mary Lynn and Family,
Alexis and I are devastated to learn that Geoff has passed away. We   had no idea that he was ill and truly believed we’d see you both at the next reunion or sooner.  We will hold more fondly our memories of the times we had together…sadly, not enough! Hoping your  memories sustain you through the pain of loss and bring a smile. Meet Geoff at one of Robert and his reunions at RCS. We spent some time having very genuine conversation. I was very struck and touched by his depth and his inherent decency that was very obvious to me. I can still recall clearly the time we spent talking together. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Most sincere condolences to his family.

Geoff put on great summer parties in his big back yards, which I attended during the many years we worked together on the business desk at the Gazette. My sympathies to Mary Lynn and all his family.
