He will be dearly missed by his daughter Clara (Donald), son Jimmy (Lisa), grandchildren Michael (Lauren), Andrea (Joey), Christine (Ryan) and Eric (Cara), great-grandchildren Francesco, Chiara and Joseph. He also leaves to mourn his brother-in-law Emidio (Anna), nieces, nephews, friends and relatives in Canada and Italy.
Joe was raised in the beautiful Amalfi Coast region of Italy. There, his love of Napoletana music took hold. Our family home was always filled with his sweet songs and it was quite common to hear him serenade the love of his life. He also sang in his church choir for 35 years. Joe was a wonderful storyteller, soccer enthusiast and enjoyed reading and discussing all topics relating to geography, history and current events. But more importantly, he was a true family man who loved nothing more than to sit around the dining room table with his entire family, devouring a delicious meal, home-made wine and of course, caffè corretto.
Special thanks and appreciation to the 4th floor, South Wing staff at The Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire for their compassion and quality of care.
Giuseppe is currently under the care of Collins, Clarke, MacGillivray White Funeral Home in Poiinte-Claire and has requested a private, family burial service.
