Jill (Cowan) Lillie

After a brief illness, surrounded by her family and loved ones, passed peacefully on Friday October 12, 2018 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Dr. John Lillie for 62 years; devoted and loving mother to Eric (Dianne), Penny, Cindy (Robin), and Mark (Angie); and grandmother of Kristen, Jasmine, Sean, Dana, Jonno, Christopher, Lily and Jonathan; and beloved sister of Alan Cowan. From Dolbeau to TMR and McGill then onto Beaconsfield, she lived out her dreams, family first, always welcoming and entertaining to family and friends. Her other passions included gardening and reading or swimming at the pond near Brome or Bonita Beach. A warm, well dressed and graceful lady, always thinking of others, she particularly thrived in the kitchen and prepared thousands of sumptuous meals and hosted hearty get togethers for all to enjoy and relish. In her cherished memory a private family gathering will be held, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Lakeshore General Hospital's Oncology Department for their support and fine care are appreciated.
