Dear Cindy and Gregg;  I loved Aunt June; she was so kind to Nancy, Michael and me when we visited your home in Pierrefonds (in the 1960s.) On one occasion we all went to near the top of  the mountain; it must have been Spring as there was much snow, though it was warm, and many people had rented reflectors to hold under and around their faces in order to speed the tanning process. We had s kind of dessert or candy on a snowball; it was an outstanding day for someone from a New Brunswick village!

I will hold Aunt June's memory in my heart forever; she was a wonderful Aunt.

Many memories of a very beautiful and classy lady.  Spent so much time over at the Dow's house, getting into trouble with Chris, and I can appreciate the patience and good nature June possessed to tolerate  our antics over the years.  Later, She always enjoyed the pictures of our girls when Barb and I would visit, and catching up on the news of our growing family.  June will be remembered fondly.

June was a pretty special person in my life.  She was my Mother-in_law and she raised the wonderful man I love with all my heart but even more than that, she was an inspiration to me.  And sadly, I don't think I ever told her that.  She was inspiring in the way she loved her family unconditionally, she would do anything to make them happy and protect them.  She was inspiring how she was so strong in all the challenges she had to face with Ken and Christopher's health issues and Gregg living so far away.  She was inspiring how she lived life to the fullest in spite of her own health issues.  She was inspiring how she loved to entertain friends and family and did it is so well.  She was inspiring the way she was always "pulled together" with her nails polished, lipstick on, hair combed, smartly dressed smiling and ready to enjoy whatever the day brought.  She was inspiring with her sense of humour (sometimes dry and only funny to her) and her laugh that filled a room.   She was inspiring how she was accepting of me and my family.  She was inspiring in how she loved music and quite often would break out into song.  She was inspiring how she loved the holidays and celebrated them with traditions old and new.   She was inspiring how she loved sharing a meal and she was funny when she made noises while she ate as the food was so good.   She was inspiring how she loved a nice glass of wine and was always ready to toast the day, meal, us or whatever inspired her at that moment.  She was inspiring how she was classy and thankful and kind.  June was my Mother-in-law but I hope she knew she was my inspiration and also my friend.  I will miss her and I hope I can carry on some of her inspiring ways.  Love, Cindy

June was our daughters mother in law who provided Cindy with the love of her life and long term partner known simply as "Handsome" which he sure is, easily accomplished with such great parents as Ken (also Handsome) and raised with June herself a very class act. We were fortunate to spend some special days with June especially her 90th birthday party last year at Gregg and Cindy's new home in the County. RIP June you have left behind a great legacy.

From my earliest memories Dear Aunt June was such an influence  in my life.   She had a way of always making me feel special.  She was a champion for all young folks, and I am sure there wasn't a single one that passed her path who wasn't lifted up by her lightness of being and her genuine care.  

I marked her every visit to my childhood home in New Brunswick with such eagerness.  Aunt June was coming!   I never felt she treated me as a child, but rather an older sister.   

Over the years I received my Aunt June's  encouragement and support as we discussed such topics as hairstyles, what to do about "boys" and how to know you're in love.  When I last visited Ken and June on my way to start a new life out west,  it was she who gave me sage advice on how to make my way.    

Her sense of humour and playfulness, her genuine care and concern for the happiness and welfare of those in her orbit, her generous sharing of her home and herself with others are all things she will be remembered for.  In my personal life journey, she played a key role in providing me with a sense of being loved and being special.  I will always remember her with love and gratitude.

Aunt June was a sweet, kind, generous and accepting person to me (a niece-by-marriage), my husband Dave, and our four children, Pamela (Kevin), Andrea (Jason), David (Elizabeth), and Liz (Christopher). She and Uncle Ken were, together, always interested in our children, welcoming them into their home as well as into their hearts.

One of our favourite memories of Aunt June has to be her generosity every time we drove through Montreal on route to New Brunswick. We and our children remember fondly, lavish breakfasts served in her dining room and on her best china. We were all treated royally...as Dave and I were when we visited after we were first married, and Aunt June insisted, over our protests, that we sleep in their bedroom! In so many ways she will live on in our hearts, as fondly as she seems always to have been an integral part of our lives.
