It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of a lovely lady, Lucie Ely, on September 10, 2020 at Sunrise Beaconsfield. Lucie was predeceased by her husband George, son George Jr., and sister Jaqueline. She leaves to mourn her loving daughter Louise and son-in- law Rick Jackson, her cherished grandchildren Scott (Christine) and Shaun (Matt), and precious great- grandchildren Olivia and Charlie. In addition to being a caring, adoring mother and grandmother, Lucie was an intelligent and inspiring lady with a great sense of fun and good humour. She loved playing her games especially crosswords, poker, Sudoku and duplicate bridge. Lucie will forever hold a very special place in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her. It was a privilege for us to have shared her journey in life. A private family celebration of Lucie's life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Sunrise Beaconsfield for their compassion and loving care.
